later i asked where is my ring.. went to tita se but tita se didn't want you to go near the jewelry box... cried a lot!!!
but later she let you have one ring to give to mommy

according to nona, much improvement today compared to monday. was worried before cause there were much more kids but she said she's noticed an improvement.
only problem is that you don't want to sit on the circle.
so friday i'll join you on the opening circle and then later again when we read a story and closing.
told her about noticing improvement in your communication too since monday

had a real conversation with our caretakers Vi and Grant. With Vi first, greetings... then showed him the aircon, "push button"
"not working" ... "help you?" ... counted the numbers on the measuring tape.
then later with both of them, wants to help with the aircon installation (switched with temmie), then showed them Disney Online. And Atlantis... playing with the controller
when they were gone, went to the aircon and smelled the air... "smells like Tita!" ...

i said no.. he does. i guess he just doesn't want to follow.
we'll give it a few more weeks... and see. if not pull out and try again next year.

The "Bully" of Tinker Town

Dear Ace,

The day started out really good. At "Future Space", you met a friend (he looks just as active as you) and even introduced him to me and daddy. When you friend's dad said "have fun guys", you looked back and said that back to him... (caught on video) .... he asked your friend to look for his hat and your friend asked you to help him find his hat (which his daddy eventually found outside) . You two often go down the big slide, with you at his back and your arms around his neck, shrieking with joy. You lost each other when you went up the big slide and he can't follow cause he has socks on... you came back for him, went inside the right way and when you can't find him, you came out to us and asked to go to "the car". Now you know that your break time is one ride around the track on the small car. You did that three times, without us asking you if you want to go to the car. You even came out one time and asked daddy to take you to pee. Big boy na nga.

About two hours after.... there were just a few kids in "Future Space". There's this two kids (one boy and one girl) blocking the way up to the small slide. They won't let you in. You were able to go in and the little girl followed you up the module. Then I saw her go back down to talk to her boy friend. Then here comes Ace again... wanting to go up, again. This time, they won't let you. I was standing by the gate ready to go in but I decided to wait and see what you're going to do. I was ready to pounce on these two kids for you but I know I have to give you a chance to handle it on your own. you walked away. went back up the big steps. but this skinny little boy with glasses (five years old, that's what the ribbon in his chest says, it's his birthday) came right after you with arms folded in front of him, giving you a very bad stare. i was stopping myself from making a scene and i asked daddy to go in (he didn't see what happened). your face looks like you were about to cry. but when you saw daddy, you went back inside the slide. (i guess you know we're going home if you go with him). daddy went out again. i stood by the gate. the little boy and girl (who has then went outside) were given ten more minutes by their parents to play and went back in. i can hear someone crying and thought it was someone from the area by the airplanes. but i can't seem to see who it was. the lady guard of future space went inside. after a few minutes, out she comes holding you by the hand. my baby's been crying! not a loud shouting cry but a heart breaking kind of cry. i went back in as the two little kids was on their way up, seeing you, and you looking at the little boy with glasses. your face about to cry, your eyes looking at him knowing that he has really hurt your feelings. as i took you, i intentionally said "it's ok baby, it's ok baby" to show the two kids you are still a baby. the little boy looking up at me with a questioning, full of fear face, while i stare at him really badly. i took you out and when you saw daddy you just said "daddy" ... in a very low sad voice.

I knew I had to let you go through it. Just like Jesus will let us go through difficulties cause He knows we can handle it. But He is also ready to just pick us up and rely on Him if it gets really tough. It's a growing time. Ace, not everyone is your friend. Out of the hundreds of kids you met playing at Tinker Town, there's this two who are not deserving to be your friends. Sorry, you have to learn that the hard way. But I'm happy to see you walked away and not fight back. The only thing unlike Jesus, Mommy can't see behind the walls of the slide. I didn't know you were already crying inside. I'm sorry. You didn't have to hide and cry alone. You can go out to mommy and daddy and tell us how you feel. You may not say it in words but your face surely shows it. You were really hurt. Tonight as we go to sleep, we prayed for the little boy and girl too. I told you you have to tell us what happened and that we are always there to help you. I hope you will come to us when you need us. As I'm sure Jesus heard you crying inside that's why He sent the lady guard to go in (she's supposed to stay by the gate). Jesus knew you needed help. ...

orientation session at friends together preschool... met teachers nona and laurie... and played with jordan.
too many things around... doesn't want to wait his turn on the stirring wheel... told to wait his turn by being given a seat to wait at jordan's back... like a bus :) drew his first art work that we took home. took pictures outside.
after, played with jordan "at the hill" ...
