Today is the second class for judo but today you have your uniform. I watched the last part and I am so proud to see you so well behaved and listening and following your Sensei. You're one of the youngest cause the class is big, for kids 6 - 12 years old. It's a big mix of beginners and those who have been doing it for a long time... but really happy to see you sit at the middle of the group in the middle, when told to. doing to exercise, what sensei is teaching. your partner is really bigger than you. and you would come to me to show off your uniform or to ask me if i saw you in the mat with your partner. great job ace! ...
middle of the night... "kleenex!" ... 'kleenex!" ... "what?" ... "tissue mommy!" ... sorry I didn't really understand at first. it was dry and had another nosebleed. not used to calling tissue, kleenex :) ...

I had to get up and go to the washroom. Ace woke up, followed me, with tears in his eyes. On the way back to bed, he said he had a nightmare. I asked what happened. He was speaking so softly I had to ask him to say it again. The only part I heard was "we were watching a movie, then you became si..." (something). I asked, "I became sick?" "No! You became sin." "Sin?!?" "No, you became THIN! Not soft anymore." I had to stop myself from laughing. I said that's not a nightmare. That's a nice dream. I like that. He said, "No! I like you like this." As he hugged me. What a nightmare, huh? ...
