Adobong Taytay

J'Ace Nanay

  • Pork and Chicken
  • garlic, onion, ginger, tomatoes, bell pepper, potatoes
  • toyo, vinegar, black pepper, sugar or honey, patis, oyster sauce
  • bay leaf

On a sauce pan, place the meat, then the vegetables (except the potatoes and bell pepper).  Then add the seasoning. Add about half a cup of water. Do not cover until it boils (according to Nanay, when using vinegar, don't stir or cover until it boils). When almost done, add the bell pepper, then the potatoes. Add more water if needed. Cook until the potatoes are done. Season to taste if matabang.
