Ginisang Ampalaya

  • Butter, garlic, onion, tomatoes

  • ampalaya

  • pork, cooked, cut into small pieces

  • shrimp, optional

  • sotanghon

  • chicharon, crushed

  • patis, oyster sauce

  • peanut butter

  • egg, beaten

Soak sotanghon in water for a long period of time.  Saute garlic, onion and tomatoes in butter.  Add pork and shrimp.  Add water, patis and oyster sauce, let it boil.  Add ampalaya.  Simmer until ampalaya is luto na. Add chicharon.  Add sotanghon.  When sotanghon is luto na, add peanut butter.  Stir in egg.
